Most organizations invest heavily in recruiting and onboarding but neglect the one conversation that keeps high performers from walking out the door. This workshop gives managers a practical, evidence-based framework for proactive retention through stay interviews.
Wendy Glass is the President and Founder of Ignite Leadership & HR Group, where she works with organizations as a fractional CHRO and leadership consultant. She holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations, is a Certified Executive Coach, and is a SHRM Approved Provider. She also serves as a Professor of Practice at Virginia Tech, teaching in the areas of human resources and management and leadership.
Wendy's work focuses on the factors that cause talented people to stay or leave, and she brings a direct, evidence-based approach to topics including employee retention, manager effectiveness, performance management, and engagement. Her sessions consistently earn high marks for practical applicability, and attendees leave with tools and frameworks they can put to work immediately. She lives and works in the New River Valley and is actively engaged in the regional HR and business community.
