    About the Program:

    About the Speaker:

    Coy Renick is a high energy human resource and staffing executive with 30+ years Human Resources and Recruiting experience.  He has spent his career in the business of recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent for clients and his employers.

    Since launching The Renick Group in 2004, he has worked side by side with his clients to become a trusted talent advisor.  Coy’s motto of placing   ” the right people in the right position” has allowed his clients to meet the challenges for future growth.  Additionally, his talent expertise is well respected and solicited by his clients.

    Coy has long been involved in SHRM on a local, state, and national level. His credentials include:

    • SPHR, Senior Professional in Human Resources
    • SHRM – SCP, Senior Certified Professional
    • Past President of Roanoke Valley SHRM
    • Past State President of Virginia SHRM State Council
    • Past MAC Membership Advisory Council (MAC) of Southeastern US

    While working full time Coy earned an MBA from Averett University in Danville, Virginia. He is a graduate of Radford University in Radford, Virginia earning a BS in Business Management.

    In his free time, Coy loves to play golf and spend time with his family. Coy is a member, usher and Personnel Committee member at First Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA.  He is very involved in the community and is currently serving as President of his local Gideon’s Chapter and Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia.
