Over about a 30 minute lunch and learn, Michael Gallagher will speak about several key concepts on effective communication from Dr. John C. Maxwell's newest book: The 16 Undeniable Laws of Communication. In this book he teaches us how to develop the necessary principles of communication and then gives practical how-to insights to develop as a communicator.
In this lunch and learn we will discuss 4 of the 16 Laws:
The first law is The Law of Connecting: Communicators know it’s all about others. How do you connect with your people?
The second law to consider is The Law of Credibility: Your most effective message in the on you live. What makes a speaker credible to listen to?
The third law is The Law of Conviction: The Stronger you believe it, the more people feel it. What topic or issue lights a fire inside when you discuss it?
The final law to discuss is The Law of Storytelling: People see their own lives in stories. If we have time, this question: Why are stories so powerful?
