Building an Effective Survey
Join us as we hear from the Radford University SHRM Chapter on building an effective survey: the importance of employee surveys and how companies are using them today.
Following this session attendees will be able to:
- Recognize different survey question formats and when to use each
- Identify good survey questions vs. bad survey questions
- Write better survey questions
- Gain support for survey completion
- Understand how to use survey data more effectively
- Overall: improve survey constructing abilities

Natasha Tenreiro (left) and Katherine Landes (Right) are second year graduate students at Radford University in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Master’s Program. They also serve as Radford University’s student SHRM chapter’s President and Vice President, respectively.
