When it comes to Behavioral Assessments, most HR professionals are familiar with DISC, but DISC doesn’t tell the whole story. Going deeper than DISC, by using multi-science assessment tools will improve hiring accuracy. This session will introduce one of those deeper sciences, Driving Forces. Driving Forces are WHY behind the way we work and give better insight into what motivates and engages employees.
Session learning objectives:
- Understand the benefits of using assessments in the workplace.
- Understand the need to dive deeper than just DISC in order to gain a more complete understanding of individuals.
- Increase your self-awareness and gain insight into your own behavioral and motivational design.

As the Director of Client Success for Eure Consulting, Clay Eure focuses on helping her clients effectively and efficiently adopt the structures, processes, and mindsets they need to run a successful company. One aspect of that is making sure that they are able to get the right people in the right seats. After clearly defining the role and understanding not just the what, but also the how and the why, we help match candidates to the role with up to 90% accuracy. The secret lies in multiple sciences: matching Behaviors, Driving Forces, Competencies, and Acumen to help ensure that employees will be as successful and productive as possible starting their very first day. The benefits of our hiring process are three-fold: reduced turnover, elimination of Sanctioned Incompetence and greater productivity.
Clay's 140+ hours of training in the use and application of Behavioral Assessments makes her an invaluable asset to managers that are interested in recruiting and managing the right people in the right roles. Clay works with managers and CEOs to better understand their people and how to manage them effectively. Her goal in life is to make everyone's work life better.
Clay attended Vanderbilt University, where she studied Anthropology and French. She moved back home to Charlottesville right after graduation to work in her current role. In addition to work, she serves as the President of the Junior League of Charlottesville and is a member of the Development Committee of the non-profit Paramount Theater.
Ms. Eure has chosen the NRV Women's Resource Center as our charity of the month for June. Please click here to donate...no amount is too small :)
